During our New Year stay, we really enjoyed the modern and clean villa, which had a great open bathroom. Another great aspect was the private garden where we could have spa treatments and massages by the pool. The location of the resort was also perfect as it was close to shops and restaurants, making it convenient to explore and dine out.
There were a few aspects that could be improved. the food could be better, although it was still good.

The staff are excellent. Especially those at the restaurants. The villa is very comfortable and the design is awesome. My husband said it's the best bed he has ever slept in.
1. Mosqitoes. But I guess this is unavoidable. 2. Room 03-02 toilet smells bad despite cleaning. The urine smell lingers and it affected my mood as I have a sharp sense of smell. 3. When we settled our bill I noted there will be a conversion of us$ to Rp to s$. We end up paying 'extra' due to the exchange rate difference. I was taken a back because when I booked the villa, it is stated in us$. It did not occur to me there will be a double conversion. Later I realised many people have complained about this in the internet forum. I wonder if the hotel can look into this?

My partner and I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Seminyak for a week-long getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning surroundings and attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The villa we stayed in was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the comfortable bed with mosquito nets and the gorgeous bathroom. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and the pools were amazing. We also appreciated the convenient location, with easy access to the beach bars and shops nearby. our stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfect.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Just the location. There are many nice shops around the area.
The room had a strong scent of insecticide. The linen looked worn out.

The private pool as a part of the villa and the friendliness of the staff.
The coffee at breakfast was very ordinary - not a big deal but important if you're a caffeine addict! An espresso machine would be a great addition.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this charming accommodation. The villa I stayed in was spotless and surrounded by beautiful gardens, creating a serene and relaxed atmosphere. The staff at Desamuda Village went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, providing excellent service throughout. The meals at the on-site restaurant were also top-notch. Additionally, the location was ideal, with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay.

The villa designs were as beautiful as they were comfortable. Very friendly staff. Clean and well serviced. Wonderfully landscaped grounds and very centrally located in Seminyak.
The restaurant was a bit overpriced. The couch a bit spartan (but nothing a couple of extra pillows couldn't overcome..

The pool area was spacious and clean, with ample seating for sunbathing. The breakfast had a good variety of food options. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The villas lacked enough cooking utensils for preparing a full meal. The private pool in our villa only had two beds, limiting the intimacy and relaxation.

We stayed in a second-floor flat for a couple of nights. Very helpful staff as always in Indonesia. A good point is that the hotel has a 24/24 service of free drops anywhere between Nusa Dua and Seminyak for the guests. Probably very good for families, not so much for young couples.
Hotel not very lively, as most of the people stay in villas with private pools. Our room was a little bit too dark and furniture is not the best we experienced in Bali for this price. We would not recommend one-bedroom villas, as the swimming pools are very tiny and any action there is visible from upstairs :-)

Desamuda Village is ideally located in the heart of shopping area in Seminyak. If shopping is a prime factor for your stay then it is a good choice. It is a 20min walk or a ten minute taxi ride to the beach so if a beach holiday is you prime desire then there are other hotels closer to the beach that would be more suitable. Desamuda Village has two good sized pools that would be excellent to chill out by and relax.
While the rooms are comfortable, they are a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The spa was not open at all during our stay.
